Self Overview:
I guess I'm supposed to write about myself now...I do this shit too much if you ask me. I'll try to keep this as short and simple as I possibly can. First of all, I'm a proud Haitian. I my heritage and I'm not ashamed to show it, unlike some Haitians. I was born in Haiti, but grew up on the beautiful island of St. Martin/St. Maarten. Second, I'm a student at the HBCU Bethune-Cookman College...excuse me...I meant the GREAT Bethune-Cookman College. LOL Let's go Wildcats!!! I'm double-majoring in Biology and International Affairs and minoring in Music. Yeah, I know it sounds like a little much, but why not take advantage of my education and learn as much as possible? I plan on going to medical school to become an obstetrician/gynecologist (OB/GYN). Now for some fun stuff....I'm a beautiful, big girl with a sweet personality. I love to laugh. I consider it a release of tension for the soul. We all just need to laugh sometimes. People's first impression of me is that I'm shy and quiet. But that's not really true. I just like to observe others. I can get loud if I want to and if I'm around the right people....I'm rambling aren't I? I think I should stop here for now. If you want to know more just ask people.
Goals:
(1) Graduate from college.
(2) Go to medical school.
(3) Become the best doctor as I can possibly be.
(4) Get married.
(5) Impact the world in some way.
Wants:
I want a lot of things. For instance, I'd like to have that special someone in my life right now. I think I found him, but I'm too shy to say anything, which is a characteristic I really don't like about myself. I want to get a job this summer. I want my mother to get off my back. I love her, but she drives me crazy! She just needs to learn how to let me grow up. I want a car.
Accomplishments:
Well, I'm in college aren't I? I consider that to be a great accomplishment. Umm...I've managed to make it through high school and my first year of college without getting pregnant by some asshole. That's another great accomplishment if you ask me! I've also managed to have never contracted an STD!! LOL
Favorites:
Books, books, and more books. I love to read. I can escape into someone else's life and forget about my own problems for a few hours. I also love music. I'll listent to anything.....except hard metal rock or anything like music from Marilyn Manson or Ozzy Osbourne. I just can't seem to get into it. My favorite artists are Mariah Carey and Alicia Keys. I also like artists such as Jill Scott, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, T.I., etc.
