The girl.
In case you didn't figure it out yet, my name's
Gabrielle. English is only my second language and I know I make a lot of mistakes, you don't have to tell me.
I grew up speaking only French, but I really love foreign languages. The ones I do not understand fascinate me.
My biggest talent is
writing. I won two journalism prizes, I have a blog and I dream about being a popular writer. I consider being able to write and to read as the best gifts I received in my entire life.
I tend to
hide my feelings and to claim I'm okay when I'm not. This way, I do not let people with bad intentions use my weakness and I do not bother my friends with my frequent problems. There are a few people I can open up to, and
those are the ones I care about the most.
I'm
shy and independent. I guess it's what explains the fact that I have a hard time finding and keeping my relationships.
Music
isn't my life. However, it helps me to stay sane, by taking away my worries for three minutes or by helping me to understand that I'm not alone to feel this way.
You'll never hear me say I'm marginal, or anything like that. Okay, most of my opinions are contradictory to society's views, but it's not because I woke up in the morning and thought
"hey, our society is a piece of crap, so everything it says is wrong". I actually thought about the problem or the situation and my opinion is the conclusion to this mental debate.
Face it: the ones who are saying they are the "sheep running from the herd" are just leading to the creation of another herd. Being marginal isn't being unique anymore. I beg to differ, but I'm not afraid to think like everyone else when I think it's the right way to go.
I love inbox messages, so go, go, go =]
