I just finished reading a really good book with some really good quotes in it, so I decided to start a new thread!
“I feel myself taking a tiny step toward the edge of the precipice off of which Hannah is forever flinging herself. I think I might understand how she can do it. I feel like by the time I am ready to step off the edge, instead of plunging to disaster, I might float away like a dandelion seed, away from the broken stems of my old mistakes and into something big and scary and wonderful and new.”

"That's the problem when you let someone in. You tell them about all the songs and books and places that are special to you, and then they can always find you, even when you don't want them to." - Kitt Hartley, Murder on the Moorland by Helen Cox.
"I can't promise I won't hurt you. When you let someone in, pain is inevitable at some point." - Mal Halloran, Murder on the Moorland by Helen Cox. |
"I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow; but through it all, I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing." Agatha Christie
