I've searched on the internet for a list of things not to say to someone with chronic illness, and here are some of the things I've found. I personally agree with some and not with others, but for this survey, I've compiled a list of things other people
said they don't want people to say to them. If you suffer from a chronic illness, have you ever had anyone say to you.....
You don't look sick.
I hope you're feeling well.
Have you tried....?
It could be worse.
It's mind over matter; stay positive.
It's just stress.
I'm tired, too.
You cancel plans often.
At least you have time to rest.
I'm jealous you don't have to work.
I know how you feel.
It can't be that bad.
At least you're young.
