Sharen Owens is good, and unique.
James Patterson is a favorite too.
AMY TAN! The Bonesetter's Daughter was the best.
Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden was good too.
Hey sweetie,
I need you here tonight,
And I know you don't wanna be leaving me,
Yeah you want it but I can't help it,
I just feel complete when you're by my side.
But I know you can't come home till their singing...
La. La la la. La la la.

A lot of Jodi Picoult books are great. I'd probably recommend 19 Minutes and The Pact. Oh and My Sisters Keeper was really good too.

Obviously the Harry Potter books. You have to read them all, though the 5th was the best. In my oppinion.

Twilight was actually quite good. Probably recommend those books.

Cecelia Ahern is alright if you like the book version of chick flicks.

Oh and Cherub series by Robert Muchamore. Loveee those.

and also, if you're australian, or know about the black saturday bush fires in february, theres a book called Black Saturday which is quite interesting.
