Hm. So I was just thinking recently, about all of the different books that I've had to read over the years for school, and how I liked some more than others.
So, I made a board.

What is your favorite book that you've ever had to read for school, or so far.
And if you're reading something now for school, what is it?
(:
I'd probably have to go with The Outsiders being my favorite, and then A Separate Peace from this year.
Currently reading; [ Or starting to anyway. ] Macbeth. /:

My favorite book I've had to read for school is, well a tie, To Kill A Mockingbird and Secret Life of Bees.

They are seriously amazing. READ THEM!!!

Right now I'm reading the Great Gatsby for AP English. It's pretty good so far, which I didn't expect.

I have never read The Outsiders, but I did go to a local bookstore, and purchase it.
I can't exactly remember what the book was called, but it was about a family from Ireland moving to the US to have a better life, and they run through a few problems, such as The Shirtwaist Factory incident. It looked as if it was going to bore out, but turned out to amaze us.
There is nothing left to hide.

Well, I only read one book as of right now, it was called MONSTER.
I personally didn't like it. :l Oh well, we are now reading about the Holocaust and I know like everything about it already so, it's just like a review for me.
What got me into this mess, that devoured me? Lies and deceitful actions keep promising.

I think that I get to read To Kill A Mockingbird this year.
Everyone's been talking about it, anyways.

As far as I can remember, we've read The Outsiders, Of Mice and Men, Holes and Goodnight Mister Tom.
I didn't like any of them. :S
Especially considering how we were supposed to think they were written by absolute masters and how they were so relevant, even nowadays.
Gaah. I just hated school though. xP

I had to read a bunch of books for composition classes a couple of years ago. And most of them were incrediboring.
But Lord of the Flies wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. I mean in terms of boring me to death. It was a bit gross though.
