My age. I mean, really, dad? I'm not 13, anymore, no matter what you think.

Seriously, about 5 minutes ago he asked if I was 13.

Has this ever happened to you?

I have not had your precise experience, but I have had distant relatives - who SHOULD know better - continuously assume that I am younger than my brother. I was born two years before, but, since I am petite and young-looking, their brains (which I rudely assume have taken a trip down senile lane) can't comprehend that. I'm eternally 14-15 in their minds, because I don't seem to physically age. It's irritating to be regarded as a young teenager, when I'm an adult.

Usually if someone forgets my age, it's online. My parents usually remember how old I am. One time my Dad asked me when my birthday was though, which was kinda sad because he's my Dad! He wasn't home a lot and missed my birthday a few times or was just making sure but I dunno. One time he thought I was an age younger. Other than that time, it hasn't happened to me. I do forget how old my parents are every now and then though.

It usually seems like people forget my name wayyyyy more than my age though. That's just in general. At home, everyone remembers my name. At school a lot of people say, "What's your name again?" and then they can't even pronounce it right. They add and subtract letters. It is ridiculous. They'll say and spell my name like: Kayla, Kaitlyn, Kayley, Kasey (that one is a bit uncommon, but it does happen), Kylie, etc. Get a load of how they spell it: Kalen (not so bad), Kayla, Kaitlyn, Calen, Caylen, Kayley, Kaylan, Kylan, Kaylyn, etc. It gets old -_- but I am pretty used to it. Spelling is more understandable but pronouncing it isn't hard.

My dad can't remember my birthday, it's pretty depressing. Many birthdays have gone by without him saying happy birthday to me.
'm constantly being asked by family members if I'm 14... I'm going to be 17 in feb. -.-
