HI GUYS!!! -glomps-
Meh, I'm not doing so hot.
To get into Temple University in Tokyo, well, they said they'll accept home-schooled students, so long as they have a state accredited high school diploma. I'm not state accredited, so we have to call the Texas Board of something or another and find out how to get accredited, which sucks because I'm so far behind so I have to finish a million years worth of work in like, two seconds, because I believe you have to get accredited before you finish twelth grade.
Then, to go to Tokyo, I have to have my four-year student visa, which means I have to go to the nearest Japanese embassy which my mom thinks is in Austin, which is six hours away. And I have to do the alien registration thing, which I don't even know HOW to do that, and then I have to get my passport. I don't have a job, so I have no way to pay for all of that, and my dad refuses to help me out and pay for it because he doesn't approve of my going to Tokyo.
I'm trying to get the Rosetta Stone Japanese program, for obvious reasons, and again, my dad won't pay for it, but he'll pay for me to get any other language. Jerk. Since it's like, 230 bucks, I can't pay for it by myself.
My mom could help out rather well, were she not drugged up 24/7. I'm having to bug the crap out of my admissions counselor by asking him questions all the time because she can't help me.

Oh, wow.
I'm sorry to hear that Katy. I know how much you want to go to the University in Tokyo. So, why won't your father help you get into the University? I mean, you don't have a job, so you obviously can't get in without the help. That seems like a good amount of work, nonetheless, just to get into a University. I hope it works out for you. I would help if I could.
